You can change the app you authentciation to authenticate yourself when you log in to Xero. We recommend Xero Verify for quick and easy authentication using push notifications. You can change your backup email address to another address. It needs to be different to the one you use to log in to Xero. When you set up MFA, Xero asked you to choose an authentication backup method.
